Sigma Gamma Epsilion's chapter at West Chester Univeristy of PA is an honors organization where West Chester Univeristy students, faculty, and staff can assemble together to discuss various topics within the study of the Earth and Space Sciences, as well as participate in a multitude of various public and private events, orchestrated by the general membership and elected representatives with the organizational body.

Sigma serves as a wonderful study body group, whereas all interested may take part in a West Chester University sanctioned Honors' society which does wonders for the development of an excellent resume` for post-collegiate employment searching, in addition to the great experience attained through service as a member of this organization. Every week members are afforded the opportunity to exchange their thoughts and perspectives with other smart, interesting people while taking part in various group activities, events, public outtings, and of course, FUN.

All current West Chester University students may join, as long as they, are majors within the Department of Geology and Astronomy, have a 2.6 GPA prior to admittance and throughout their tenured membership, maintain said GPA, and have retained at least 10 semester hours of credit through the completion of Earth and Space Science courses.
